Everyday Inspiration

I just received a quote into my inbox this morning that really struck a chord partly because it’s one I never heard before but it links in with so much that we aspire to :)

Your imagination is your preview of life’s coming attractions.
~Albert Einstein~

Isn’t it strange how Einstein tapped into the law of attraction without knowing it? Taking that one step further, if your imagination is your preview of life’s coming attractions, it’s not too big a jump to realise that we become, or manifest for ourselves the things that we think about is it?

Imagining, or thinking about what you want to happen or what you want to become is just the first step of course. Simply imagining it or even believing it is not enough to make it happen, but when you go from imagining to believing you open a door in your psyche that allows you to begin to see things in a different light. Your belief will open your mind to the opportunities and possibilities that you encounter which will enable you to become, or achieve, what you believe.

Think of all the times that you have really needed money for an unexpected bill etc and a windfall of some kind has landed in your lap – usually just about enough to pay the unexpected or outstanding bill without any left over lol.

When that happens – do you feel cheated because you haven’t been able to ‘benefit’ from the windfall or do you feel supremely grateful that it arrived in time to save you worrying about how you would find the money?

I’m asking you that because chances are that if you are one of the people who would feel cheated and dissatisfied in that situation then you are not manifesting the right kind of belief system to make your imagined lifestyle happen. If you get caught up in the negative aspect of that type of situation, you’re likely to be clogging up your karma or whatever you want to call it with close minded thoughts and not opening your mind to the opportunities that are around us everyday, (I’m not talking about all those biz opportunities that are better than sliced bread here lol – I’m talking about the kind of opportunities that enable you to take those small steps towards your goal, maybe earning a few extra dollars a day initially, maybe freeing up some precious time to work on yourself or maybe opening up a new social circle where you may meet new business partners).

If you’re not a naturally optimistic person, learning to be grateful in that kind of situation can be quite a challenge. However, it is one that will pay you so many dividends. Mindset really is the key success factor. Start redefining yourself today. If you stick to one New Years resolution in 2010, let that be it and I look forward to hearing how much has changed for you this time next year :)

Great information. People truly don’t realize that they receive a glimpse of their destiny daily and really don’t know how to tap into it. Everything revolves around your mindset. THINK POSITIVE..THINKING NEGATIVE LEADS YOU NOWHERE!!

I couldn’t agree more Lezlie, I think a lot of people don’t even notice how negative their thought processes have become. Thanks for commenting :)
